  Turks & Caicos is surprisingly simple to reach by air – in fact, it’s one of the easiest Caribbean destinations to get to from the United States, with regularly scheduled non-stop flights from six North American cities. Who would’ve thought that reaching paradise would require so little effort? The main gateway into the Turks & Caicos Islands is Providenciales International Airport (PLS), located just 15 short minutes from almost anywhere on-island, including Five Little Cays House. Many major airlines fly direct into Provo from cities like Boston, New York, Charlotte, Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami, as well as from Toronto, London, Milan, Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Nassau, Bahamas. No less than eight charter flights also arrive on Provo weekly during the winter/high season, from New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Miami, Toronto, and Milan. Currently, visitors from Eastern Bloc countries must present a tourist visa in addition to a passport at TCI Immigration. Non-Stop Flights American Airlines offers three daily flights from Miami (a mere 75-minute flight) and regularly scheduled flights from New York, Boston, and Philadelphia. Delta Airlines offers regularly scheduled flights from Atlanta. US Airways offers regularly scheduled flights from Charlotte. Spirit Airlines offers regular flights from Ft. Lauderdale, typically at a discounted fare. Air Canada offers regularly scheduled flights from Toronto. Bahamas Air flies to Provo twice weekly from Nassau. British Airways offers regular service from London’s Heathrow airport. Jamaica Airlines offers regular service four days a week from Montego Bay, and numerous daily flights to and from the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
